16-city tour brings immersive experience to surgical teams across the U.S.
Digital innovation is revolutionizing spine surgery with the promise of increased precision, efficiency, and improved patient outcomes. But these technological advances can only help patients if surgeons have access to the professional education and training to adopt them in clinical practice. That’s where the Johnson & Johnson Institute Digital Technology Experience Spine Mobile Lab comes in. The high-tech vehicle is fully equipped to deliver education and training programs to support the safe and effective use of the latest digital spine surgery innovations from DePuy Synthes and its partner Brainlab.
Where Technique and Technology Come Together

Recently, the mobile lab visited 16 cities across the U.S. to provide cutting-edge learning on navigational and robotic technologies to more than 250 healthcare professionals. Dubbed the “Digital Technology Experience Mobile Tour,” the vehicle uses fully equipped OR simulation stations to deliver hands-on experience with digital. The comprehensive learning approach unites technology with technique to cover full procedural solutions in the areas of Complex Cervical, Minimally Invasive Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF), Lateral and Deformity procedures.

As preferred partners in Spine, DePuy Synthes and Brainlab work towards a shared vision of creating differentiated enabling technologies that can integrate all key elements of spine surgery.
