Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) is an established standard procedure to address advanced knee osteoarthritis. Improvements in prosthesis design have been presented to the scientific community, and the long-term follow-up of patients who underwent these surgical procedures is worth looking at. The matched pair analysis trial was a five-year follow-up comparing cohorts who underwent a modern TKA with Attune knee system prosthesis and its predecessor PFC Sigma between January 2010 and December 2014 at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. This content is intended for Health Care Professionals in Southeast Asia.
