
About The EPDEP
This program is specifically designed for trainees in the early stages of a career in cardiac electrophysiology and who are committed to their professional growth and development.
Over the course of 18 months, participants will have the opportunity to become confident and competent Electrophysiologists. They will be trained by a faculty of expert teachers from the EMEA region to ensure a high-quality learning experience and exposure to the latest advancements in the field.

Objectives
The primary objectives of the EPDEP program are to enhance participants' knowledge and develop their hands-on skills in all aspects related to mapping and ablation of various types of arrhythmias.
- Through a comprehensive curriculum, participants will gain a deep understanding of EP fundamentals, including anatomy, interpretation of ECGs and intracardiac electrograms, diagnostic electrophysiologic evaluation, the effective use of electroanatomic mapping tools and treatment options.
- Practical skills sessions will cover vascular access, transseptal puncture and intracardiac echocardiography. The program will also provide opportunities for hands-on activities, such as catheter manipulation on simulators.
Personalized coaching and mentoring with international Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), as well as international networking with their peers.
Blended-Learning Approach
The primary objectives of the EPDEP program are to enhance participants' knowledge and develop their hands-on skills in all aspects related to mapping and ablation of various types of arrhythmias.
| 1. Self-led Study: Participants will engage in self-led study through online modules and pre-read materials. These resources will be assigned to students before joining the instructor-led courses. By completing the self-led study components, participants will establish a solid foundation of knowledge, enabling them to fully comprehend the content covered during the courses. | 2. Instructor-led Courses: Students will have the opportunity to attend dedicated courses conducted either face-to-face or virtually. The courses have been meticulously designed and will be led by an internationally recognized faculty comprised of esteemed experts from the EMEA region. Their expertise and guidance will ensure a high-quality learning experience and an in-depth exploration of the subject matter. | 3. Mentoring: Throughout the program, participants will benefit from virtual coaching sessions with the program director and the faculty. These sessions aim to provide support and guidance to students. They offer an opportunity to address any doubts, delve deeper into specific content not covered in the courses, and discuss challenging cases. |
